MX Plastic Punk
MX Plastic Punk is Matze and his acoustic guitar performing self written lyrics and the odd cover or two is his own unique style. Listening to his demos I was reminded of the English Folk Punk singer Billy Bragg. We haven’t yet met personally but his introductory email was really nice and the link to his recordings was a definite yes for us. Looking forward to this gig on 9 December!
Matze, der Drummer der LA Punks von Rather Raccoon auf Abwegen: Mittlerweile Wahl-Münchner hat er die Akustikgitarre und Songs über die Liebe, T-Rex und den besten Sommer aller Zeiten im Gepäck – diese Songs mittlerweile sogar auf Tonträger gebannt! Mit „Well-Unknown Singer“ hat er im Juni 23 endlich das lange angeküdigte erste Album vorgestellt und lädt mit seinem Sound irgendwo zwischen punkigem Folk und Indie Schmusepop zum Fußwippen, Kuscheln, Nachdenken, Bier trinken und bei dem ein oder anderen Cover auch mal zum Mitgrölen ein.
We have no cover charge in McMahon’s B’Irish Pub (kein Eintritt) but musicians need to be paid! Some people have no problem paying 556€ (ohne Schmarn) to see Helene Fischer but others have a problem when we ask you to put 10€ per person into the hat. Please don’t be a Helene Fischer Depp. Sonst werden wir Atemlos!
